Deputy Vice Chancellor, RTI
…Welcome…
We live in a world whose fundamentals continue to be courage, curiosity and endless imagination. These have led us to journeys beyond our sphere and endless possibilities at home and abroad. No other institution exemplifies these great ideals more than ours. As the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research, Technology and Innovation, I am charged with bringing these fundamentals to fruition and letting them fuel our journey into a future without boundaries. Our university’s core values of Integrity, Networking, Excellence, Compassion and Teamwork (INJECT) have spurred us on to transformative research and innovation across all our subject areas. I have the privilege of working alongside brilliant minds who are shaping the future with curiosity, courage, and creativity. Our responsibility is not only to have a “better by far” centre of excellence but to create an ecosystem of the highest standards where our skillsets and humanity triumph over all odds. The University has over 2825 faculty, a great compliment of non-teaching staff as well as a student population of over 50,000. All our 16 faculties, over 29 centres and institutes work together seamlessly to achieve these deliverables. We are all in. Our commitment remains excellence in teaching, learning, research, innovation and community service...Welcome Again.A Centre for excellence with focused research, teaching and diverse and indigenous cultural heritage of Nigeria
