Unilorin & SDGs

Overview

Universities have a pivotal role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In our university, we use the instruments of research and innovation, education and professional development, advocacy and outreach, community engagement and partnerships, and policy support and leadership to support the drive. Our university generates and shares knowledge through teaching and research to directly support the SDGs. We integrate SDG concepts into our curricula through an interdisciplinary approach to ensure that students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development. Using multidimensional strategies, we conduct leading-edge research that provides evidence-based solutions and innovations to sustainable development challenges.
