The University of Ilorin has launched the U-INSPIRE Award, an initiative designed to enhance students’ skills through ideation, vocational, digital skills and entrepreneurship capacity development outside the core academic curricula. This program is open to students, staff, alumni, and partners of the university, offering opportunities such as soft skills development, internships, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship training, and volunteering. By collaborating with reputable organizations, the award aims to equip individuals with practical knowledge to thrive in today’s competitive environment and as well serves as avenue to bridge the long existing University-Industry gap. The university continues to uphold its commitment to innovation and student empowerment through this initiative. The U-INSPIRE Award at the University of Ilorin is open to final-year students of the university for the PILOT. Additionally, the initiative in its full implementation plan extends opportunities to all students, staff, alumni, and partners of the institution. The PILOT involves nine industry partners which include University of Ilorin ICT Training Institute and Consultancy Services, Lassod consulting ltd, White host Integrated services, Groom2lead Integrated Services, Cypherdevs, Mc George Consulting Limited, Grace Edge Limited, HR Square Concept,  and Icitify Solution Limited with a mandate to deliver on three initial scopes which includes leadership, graphics design and website design.  For more information about the program visit https://u-inspire.unilorin.edu.ng/
