Goal 13: Climate action

The effects of the vagaries of weather in recent days calls for innovative strategies on the part o universities. As part of our commitment to this drive, we produce cutting-edge research and data that inform policies on climate adaptation and mitigation strategies. Through our research findings, we proffer innovative solutions to address the deleterious effects of climate change. We equally integrate climate change into our curricula, broadening our students’ knowledge about it. We also undertake advocacy and enlightenment programmes to foster awareness and drive behavioural change among the public to build resilience.
