Goal 12: Responsible consumption & production

Research and innovation are formidable tools for a sustainable economy. Therefore, we encourage research on sustainable production, circular economy, resource efficiency, recycling and sustainable procurement practices, providing evidence-based solutions for policy formulation.      

We use our expertise to advocate for responsible consumption and production in operations and governance. We collaborate with government agencies, businesses and NGOs to provide multi-stakeholder solutions to economic challenges.

Promoting this goal as a university requires students’ involvement. Therefore, we support student-led campaigns on sustainable consumption and production initiatives.
