Goal 5: Gender equality

Gender equality cannot be fully realised without the input of universities. We have, therefore, developed a comprehensive, long-term strategy that fosters gender equality across our departments, centres, and units. We embed gender equality activities into our teaching, research and community service programmes. We promote gender-balanced decision-making and leadership roles to ensure diverse perspectives. We take strong action against sexual harassment and violence and establish clear reporting structures, preventive measures, and supportive systems for victims. We equally integrate gender issues into our curricula and research projects, ensuring that women contribution to sustainable development is taught across disciplines in our university.
